The Sylvia Oancia Memorial Fund has been established to recognize Ms. Oancia's extensive contribution to Regina's performing arts community. A yearly scholarship shall be awarded to an individual who wishes to expand hir or her knowledge of the performing arts (in the areas of performance, technical, or arts administration) through university courses, workshops, or any other learning opportunity.

Applicants must be active members of Regina's performing arts commuinity who have demonstrated consistent and committed involvement in theatre related activities. Application forms are available from the Regina Summer Stage office or online, and must be submitted no later than June 30.

The scholarship will be awarded at the opening night reception of the major musical traditionally staged in mid July.
