Scholarship Recipient
 The Sylvia Oancia
Memorial Fund Scholarship, worth $400, was presented July 7, 2011 at the Opening
Night Reception of this year’s summer production of Little Shop of Horrors.
The
scholarship honours the memory
of one of Regina’s great supporters of the arts and founders of
Regina Summer Stage.
The bursary may be used for lessons,
workshops or classes in any area related to theatre: music, dance, acting,
technical theatre or arts administration.
Congratulations to Jason Fisher, a very
talented performer who served as our Seymour Krelborn for
Little Shop of Horrors. He will use the bursary to further his studies in
the dramatic arts.
