Auditions
Auditions typically take place three
months prior to opening night for our Summer Productions.
Other smaller productions audition about 5 weeks before.
Announcements of
open casting calls are usually made in the Regina Leader-Post
as well as
on this page.

Auditions for our next production are to be announced.
Rehearsals are typically held 4 times weekly, starting in May
The production runs eight
performances from first thru the second week in July.
All performances commence at 8 pm except for one 2 pm matinée.
Venue: University of Regina Theatre, Riddell Centre.
Summer Production Audition Material:
Sing an appropriately relevant song of your choice from the musical theatre
repertoire, which will display
your best vocal quality, range and volume, and perform a brief monologue (2 mins.
max) of your choice
(monologue not required if you do not wish to be considered for a Lead Role).
A vocal range check and vocal exercises may be requested at the
discretion of the directors,
and you may also be asked to read from the
script. Since a British or Cockney accent is important in this production,
you will be asked to read a passage from the script with your best attempt at
those.
Please arrive a bit before your scheduled audition time in order to fill
in an audition form,
though feel free to bring a prepared résumé if you have one, and attach
it to the audition form.
If you have a photo, this would be appreciated. Call-backs will include
movement/choreography, so dress accordingly.
Piano Accompaniment:
An accompanist will be provided, though
you may bring your own if you wish.

To Schedule an Audition:
Auditions will be scheduled
beginning Monday, April 19.
Contact the Regina Summer Stage office at 522-9078. Leave a message
indicating your name,
telephone number, and if you wish, your e-mail address.
Regardless of where you leave your message, the stage manager will contact you
to arrange a specific
time for your audition. Please notify us if you must cancel or re-schedule.
All individuals cast in the show must be members of Regina Summer Stage. A
ten-dollar membership fee
is required.
