Auditions
Auditions typically take place three
months prior to opening night for our Summer Productions.
Other smaller productions audition about 5 weeks before.
Announcements of
open casting calls are usually made in the Regina Leader-Post
as well as
on this page.
Audition Dates:

Summer Production Audition Requirements:
If
auditioning for a principal role, prepare a monologue of your choice, not to
exceed two minutes.
If auditioning for a principal role, supporting
role, or chorus, prepare
a song in the musical theatre genre that showcases your vocal quality, range,
and
volume. An accompanist will be provided, but you may bring your own if you wish.
A vocal range check,
vocal exercises, and/or cold read from the script
may be requested at the discretion of the directors.
A prepared resumé
(with
photo if available) is appreciated but not required.
Please arrive a bit before your scheduled audition time in order to fill
in an audition form,
though feel free to bring a prepared résumé if you have one, and attach
it to the audition form.
Call-backs will include
movement/choreography, so dress accordingly.
Piano Accompaniment:
An accompanist will be provided, though
you may bring your own if you wish.

telephone number, and e-mail address.

Provide your contact information as noted
above.
The stage manager will contact you to
arrange a specific time for your audition.
Please notify us if you must cancel or reschedule.
All individuals cast in the show must be
members of Regina Summer Stage.
A ten-dollar membership fee is required.
